Fun Weekend

We had such a great weekend. Finally, after all the dramas with the car pulling the boat we were able to take the boat out with the new car without any problems! We had such perfect Qld weather on the weekend which meant we got out on the boat on Friday and Sunday.

Friday was spent cruising the canals around Mooloolaba and a brief stint out on the ocean. Chloe had her first turn in the ski tube with the boat actually moving. We were so proud of her.

Sunday we went to Deep Water Bend and had a beautiful day fishing, tubing and for lunch we pulled up to a beautiful beach area which was covered in shells. The children had so much fun. We were only going to go for a few hours but it was so perfect we stayed out the whole day.

We are so lucky to have such wonderful family time! xoxo

New Pergola

What a weekend! Once again the weekend centred around the kids social life. So we were running around picking them up from parties taking them to other parties etc...so much fun for them, so many lolly bags for them!

Nathan had his first AFL game on Friday night. We were on our way to the game when I realized I had left the camera at home so raced back to get it and made it just in time. Went to take some photos of this exciting time and the camera read "No Memory Card". I'd taken it out to develop some photos and had left it at home. We will be getting photos of Nathan's 2nd game of football. He had so much fun at the game and I was so proud of him.

I managed to take some photos of the new pergola on the weekend. Not quite finished yet but near enough to get an idea of what it's going to be like when finished.

Can't wait until it's finished and we can start enjoying it.

She's Back

The kids are back at school and all the afterschool activities have started again. We had a fantastic holiday, just a shame the kids only had a week off. It was awsome having Justin at home for the holidays - especially as it meant I could go to Sydney for a few days for an industry specific trade expo! - we did heaps of things as a family which we haven't been able to do for ages and with J's new job, won't be able to do it for a little while.

We had a fun day in the city - catching the city cat to the Museum and Southbank. Here are some of the pics that were taken on the day (had the small camera - so shots not the best, but it's the memories that count!)

Also managed to fit in the movies with the kids one day, skating, an awsome park at Pine Rivers and Sirromet Winery with some friends. Phew!!!

Our pergola at the back is being built at the moment as is looking amazing. Will have to take some pics tomorrow when hopefully they have finished. Also have Nathan's first AFL game to go to tomorrow night. He is so excited about it. J took him to the shops tonight to buy his first pair of football boots. Will definately have to have my camera for this to show!
