A couple of weekends ago, Chloe had her mini concert for Dance. She was sick on that weekend but was determined to dance and she enjoyed every minute of it.

Last weekend we had Ben & Vanessa over for dinner and of course a round of Singstar. Ben was too funny and decided to hog the mics. And Justin found someone who could challenge him to the Diva title. We had a really fun night.

Nathan's turn for dancing. The grade two's have been learning dance at school all term so we got to view a presentation class. Nathan was right into it!
We got out on the boat on Sunday. We decided to cruise the Brisbane river. It was a perfect day. The water was glassy. We stopped under the story bridge so the kids could have a chance to explore and I got to take some pics!!
Today was the start of the school holidays. We sat down this morning and did up a calendar of all the things the children wanted to do on the holidays. Today was a train ride. We got on at Toombul and went to Sandgate where we could feed the ducks and have a picnic lunch. It was a really fun day. Hayden was very excited about getting on the train. However, when we got on he was a little bit frightened and held onto the chair so tightly and kept saying "scary mummy, scary!" But after a couple of minutes he was fine.Funny story to share - Early this morning we had someone come to take the boat away to install a wiper and just as the guy was heading off with the boat in tow, Hayden said to me (in front of the man) "where man take my boat?" The guy cracked up but Hayden was not impressed! He loves 'his' boat.
Anyway, I think that is everything up to date for the moment. Although we have plenty of things planned for the holidays so no doubt there will be more photos to share. xoxo
